On August 28, 2017, Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Daigneault of Fishing Lake Metis Settlement passed away at the age of 74 years. He is survived by 2 sons, Dean (Darcy) Lester of Blue River, BC & Rick Daigneault of McBride, BC; daughter, Alana Daigneault of Edson; loving mother, Vera Daigneault of Elk Point; sisters, Betty Daigneault, Joan (Ray) Dube, Marilyn (Lance) Gregg, Dolly Daigneault, Sandra Abrey, Yvonne Heppner & Frank Daigneault; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph; brothers, Johnny & Robert; & sisters, Angeline & Grace. Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, Fishing Lake. Reverend Father Thomas Nguyen will be officiating, with interment in Fishing Lake Community Cemetery, Fishing Lake.
