It is with great sadness that
the family of the late Curtis Shaw announce his passing on December
26, 2016 at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 64
years. He leaves to mourn with fond memories his wife Patsy;
his daughter, Jennifer Kelly (Dagan); his grandchildren, Adam and
Ashlyn Kelly, his mother, Emma Shaw; mother-in-law, Hilda Simms;
brothers Randy (Wanda) and Vernon (Rhonda); sisters Gloria Hillier
(Allan) and Narda Robbins (Pat); as well as a large circle of nieces
nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was
predeceased by his father, Reginald Shaw and his father-in-law,
Kenneth Simms. As per Curtis’
request, cremation has taken place.
Memorial
service will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Goose
Bay at a later date, with interment in the Anglican
Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy,
donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s
Hospital. Special thanks to the staff at
Labrador-Grenfell Health Center, Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic, Angie
Lawrence and for all the support from our family and friends at this
