Peacefully at Seaforth Manor, Seaforth, on Thursday December 21, 2017, Mr. Cornelis “Case” van den Brand formerly of Clinton in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Anna “Corrie” (Goossens) van den Brand. Loving father and father in law of Jerry Brand of Stratford, Wisconsin, Mary & Bert Sanders of Belgrave, Dianna Hardy of Exeter, Peter Brand & Mary Hovius of Exeter, Jacqueline & Calvin Burkart of Stouffville, Catherine Brand of London, and Gerda & Kevin McKay of Bervie. Loved and sadly missed by his 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters and brothers. Predeceased by infant son John, son Gerard, granddaughter Lia Sanders and his 3 brothers. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High St., Clinton, on Tuesday December 26, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 156 North St., Goderich, on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. Father Keith Morrison will officiate. Spring Interment Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to St. Peter’s Church – Goderich, or Right to Life.
