Claire Montour nee Boyer – 2016

In Lachine on November 30, 2016 passed away Claire Montour nee Boyer at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Elsie and Louis Boyer, her husband David and her sisters-in-law Grace and Frances. Survived by her sister Louise (John Desormeaux), her cousin Patricia Cox (Rudy Ellis), her niece Patsy (Peter Jacobs) and her grand-niece Laura. She also leaves to mourn her long and devoted friend Marie Schaffhauser and her extended family.
Retired teacher after many years in the city of Lachine.
Resting at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine H8S 2G5 (514-639-1511 www.jjcardinal.ca). Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be on December 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home followed by interment at Lachine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for guide dogs for blind youth at Fondation Mira Inc., 1820 Rang Nord-Ouest, Sainte-Madeleine, QC J0H 1S0.
