It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Mr. Lucien Charbonneau of St. Paul Alberta. Lucien was born April 25, 1923 in Ste. Rose de Laval, Quebec and passed away December 19, 2017 at the age of 94 years. Lucien is survived by his loving children,7 daughters & 2 sons, Claudette Jodoin, Leona (Henri) deMoissac, Alice (Guy) Lepine, Diane (John) Bennett, Suzanne (Juan) Hefling, Monique (Kerry) Bunzenmeyer, Doris Charbonneau, Guy (Janice) Charbonneau and Andre (Denise) Charbonneau; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. He was predeceased by his wife Antoinette; his parents; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Lucien’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Extendicare for their compassion and care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of Lucien and Antoinette will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
