Cecilia Theresa (nee Doucette) Gaudet
1934-2017
At the Palliative Care Unit of Western Hospital, Alberton, on
Sunday, October 15, 2017, with the love and support of her loving
family, of Cecilia Theresa Gaudet, of the Tignish Seniors Coop Home,
age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Gaudet. Born
at Harper Road on September 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late
Joseph and Emma (nee Perry) Doucette.
Loving mother to Gerard (Corry), of Kildare, Gary (Arlene),
of Miminegash, Timmy (Cindy), of Norway, Carmie (Pat) Cormier, of
Schurmans Point, Sheila (Glen) Shea, of Grand River, and Terry
(deceased 1973).
She will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren, Rob, Maria,
Tina, Timmy, Peter, Kelly, Jeff, Shane (deceased), Joe, Tracy, Stacy,
Brittany, Shealene, Sherrise, Shaundra and Sullivan. She is
also survived by her 24 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister to: Anita (late Jerry) Gaudet, of Hamilton, Frank
(deceased, late Maureen), Lucy (late Albert) Perry, of Tignish, Larry
(Louise), of Moncton, Vincent (Alma), of Greenmount, Paul (deceased)
and Sylvia, of Cascumpec, Raymond (Tessie), of Scarborough,
Ont., LeRoy (Barb), of Cascumpec, Jean (Matt) Roope, of Sarnia, Ont.,
Louis, of Colburg, Ont., Richard, of North York, Ont, Wilbert
(Eileen), of DeBlois, Rosalea (Vincent) Doucette, of Harper Road, and
Victor (Cathy), of Harper Road.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel,
Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral
Wednesday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for
funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment
in the Church Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials to St. Simon and St.
Jude Cemetery Fund or to the St. Felix Council of the C.W.L. would be
gratefully appreciated.
The St.Felix council of the C.W.L will hold prayers for their
departed member Tuesday evening at 6;45 pm.
