Caroline Rosemary Wilson 2017

2017
Obituary Overview
WILSON, Caroline Rosemary
Caroline Wilson, known to all as Kate, daughter of the late Carter and Leona Wilson, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on Christmas morning, 2017.
Kate was the eldest sister to 18 brothers and sisters: Patricia Byrne (Tom), Hayworth {Bub} (Deborah), Carletta Mulder (George), the late Kay Mulder (Larry), Timothy, Carson, Ivan, Violet, Loraine (Gabe), Margo, the late Penny White, Anita, Adam, Lydia, Darrin, Lamae Farah (Abdul), Cordell and Terrol Baylis.
Kate was especially cherished by her sister and best friend forever Pat, and will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Before her retirement, Katie was a longtime employee of Reflex in Windsor. Through the years she enjoyed gardening and flowers of all kinds, and would often be in competition with her sisters over who had the nicest yard. A godly woman, Kate love the Lord and showed this often by cooking and serving in the church.
She enjoyed yard saling every Saturday with Pat, and always knew how to get a good deal. She also spent Friday evenings with Pat either going for rides when able or having movie nights with the girls. They had such a close relationship, defined by the phrase “sisters first, friends forever”.
While Katie didn’t have children of her own, she took Pat’s kids as her own in many ways. She will be especially missed by Rosemary, Shawn, Kay and Darrin.
For the past 2 years, Katie battled cancer courageously. While many of her family assisted in different ways at different times, special recognition is made of our brother Tim and Virginia Valentin, who took great care of our sister daily. Thank you.
Visitation will take place at the JAMES H.
