At St. Mary’s General Hospital she returned home to the world of the angels at 8:26 pm.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Dempsey.
Loving mother of Carolyn (Jim Yochem) and Kirk (Carla Torres).
Cherished grandmother “Baba” of Olivia Mae Dempsey.
Survived by her brother Ross and sister Lynda Leeder Paull.
Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Alma Leeder.
Fondly known as “Emerg Carole,” she worked as an ER clerk at Cambridge Memorial Hospital from 1984-2004. Her spirited, “larger than life” style made a lasting impression.
Carole’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
