Obituary for Brian O’Reilly
Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, December 23, 2017 at St Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Brian John O’Reilly, aged 60 years. Brian is predeceased by his parents Michael & Hazel O’Reilly; brothers: Billy, Wayne, Michael (Junie); brother-in-law: Gordon Williams. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Eileen (McDonald); daughters: Dawn (Mark), Jennifer (Jonathan), Heather (Matthew); son: Michael; two precious grandchildren Anna and Aiden, who brought him so much happiness; sisters: Barbara (Michael), Sandra (Bren), Jeannie, Carol, Peggy (Larry), Janice (Glen); brother: Albert (Trudy); sisters-in-law: Shirley O’Reilly, Susan Villemaire, Annavi O’Reilly; as well as a large circle of loving friends and family including the McDonald and O’Reilly families. Brian’s greatest joy was his family. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, Poppy and brother. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 26th and 27th from 2 p.m to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from St. Kevin’s Parish, Goulds at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations in Brian’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Mental Health Association.
