Brian Charles Goranson, late of Weyburn, SK passed away May 7, 2017, at the age of 66 years.
He was predeceased by his mother Oliveen Goranson; his brother Garry Goranson; father-in-law Hugh Vaughan.
Brian is survived by his wife Bonnie Goranson; daughter Krista Goranson, Calgary, AB; son Marc Goranson, Calgary, AB; father Donald Goranson, Weyburn, SK; sister Donna Goranson-Kessler, (Al), Moose Jaw, SK; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, in-laws, and friends.
A Visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 7:00pm to 8:00pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK. A Funeral Service for Brian will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00pm from Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating. Active Pallbearers are the Raiders Hockey Team. Honorary Pallbearers are all in attendance. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK with lunch following at Upper Grace Hall, Weyburn, SK.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Refugee Committee, c/o Grace United Church, 210 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK, S4H 0W6 and/or please consider giving blood through the Canadian Blood Services, call 1-888-2-Donate.
