McGuire, William Eugene “Bill”- It is with great sadness the family announce the death of William McGuire of Saint John, who passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January of 1940 he was the son of the late Walter and Mabel (Maguire) McGuire. Bill was a quiet man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed nature and going for walks. Bill is survived by his loving spouse Pat Wilson; children Francis “Tom” O’Brien (Karen) and Sandra McLean (Rick); step-son Paul Wilson (Erin); grandchildren Andrew, Natalie,Riley, Colin, Sara, Brigh and Cian; brothers Allan (Norma) and Mike (Shirley) and sister Mary Miller , nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother Norman, sister Sally and a granddaughter Mallory.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday January 2nd from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 3rd at St. Joachim’s Church 603 Loch Lomond Road at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
