At the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on December 22, 2017, Betty McKenzie of Simcoe in her 88th year. Wife of the late Robert (Bob) McKenzie (2011). Dear mother of Gary McKenzie (Teresa), Dan McKenzie (Shelley), Scott McKenzie and Sharon Nunn (Jeff). She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Erie Belle Steers and her daughter Susan (1952). Cherished grandmother of Ian, Treena, Jessica, Shaelyn, Shiana, Justin, Bryar, Liam and Alex and great grandmother of Katelyn, Keegan, Logan, Alex, Austin, Nevaeh and Caleb. Also survived by her brother LaVerne Steers (Bernice) and predeceased by brother Bill Steers and sister Rose Alward (the late Jack). Betty was employed for a number of years in the cafeteria at Simcoe Composite School and was an avid golfer. Friends are invited to call at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME ON Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Vittoria.
