Betty Logan
1928-2017
Betty Logan (Katherine Elizabeth Stuart Logan), age 89,
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Monarch Hall in
Riverview.
Betty was born in Saint John, NB in 1928, but spent most of
her life in Moncton.
She was a long-time member of Mount Royal United Church and a
Lifetime Member of the Mount Royal UCW.
Betty is survived by her son John (Claudia) Logan of
Riverview and her granddaughter Emily Logan and grandson Grant Logan,
as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
her husband of 53 years, J. Donald Logan, her parents Mary (Richards)
and Hedley Bissett, brothers Dawson (Sally) Bissett and Jack (Sybil)
Bissett.
Visitation and reception will be at Cobb’s Funeral
Home 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview, (869-2007) on Monday, July 3, from
2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. A private graveside service will be
held at a later date. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff
at Monarch Hall, Grass Home, and the former Mount Royal Eldercare for
their kindness and compassionate care. In Betty’s memory,
donations to the Alzheimer Society or a memorial of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated. Condolences may be
