Obituary of Barbara Sears
It is with sadness that the family of Barbara Ruth Sears, age 82, wife of the late Cyril Sears, announces her death which occurred on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Sussex Health Centre. She was born on March 21, 1935, in Sackville , NB , a daughter of the late Henry and Irena (Colpitts) McPhee.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Sherry Pedersen and her husband Brian of Innisfail, Alberta; three sons: Walter Sears of Penobsquis, NB, Stephen Sears of Moncton, NB, Bradley Sears and his wife Pam of Summerfield, NB; sisters Phyllis Jones, Elva Greer, Mildred (Bill) Folkins; brother Randall (Madeline) McPhee; grandchildren Ryan (Candy), Kristen (Darren), Jena, Amy, Blake, Matthew; great-grandchildren Ava, Landyn, Max, Lukas; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Cyril, she was also predeceased by her son Ronald, brothers Howe, Emery, Donald, Clement and Eugene.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex , (506-433-1176) where a private family visitation will be held. A graveside service celebrating Barb’s life will be held from Cardwell Cemetery in the spring.
