Blackmere, Barbara Joan (nee: Oaks)
Passed peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 85.

Loving mother of Brian Blackmere (Teri), Donna Kerfoot (John) Cathy Blackmere and Alan Blackmere (Susan). Proud grandmother of Alicia Kerfoot (Carter Sole), Jason Blackmere (Holly), David Kerfoot (Alyssa), Sarah Kerfoot (Jamie Wilson), Erin Blackmere (Rob Schluntz), Andrew Kerfoot and Wesley Kerfoot. Much loved great-grandmother of Theodore and Penelope Kerfoot and Lily Blackmere.
The family wishes to thank Barb’s many friends and neighbours who have enjoyed her company for many years whether it was playing bridge, going to a favourite restaurant in Guelph or sharing a drink and story together.
Her family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., N., Guelph on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to commemorate Barb’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
