Audrey Martha Myers
1932-2017
MYERS – The death occurred at
the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, March 30, 2017,
of Audrey (Coles) Myers, of Borden-Carleton, aged 84 years. Born in
North Milton, she was the daughter of the late Lindsay and Dixon
(Matheson) Coles. Survived by her husband and best friend Wendell
Myers; sons Kenneth Myers, Alan Myers (Darlene DesRoches) and Peter
(Sonia) Myers; grandchildren Kendell Myers (Jennifer Essan), Kara
(Josh) Poole, Jordyn Myers, Madison Myers; great-grandchildren Weston
Myers; Galilee, Petra, Titus and Adaya Poole; brothers and sisters
Howard Coles, Nanne Garnham, Heather (Dunstan) MacDonald and John
Coles (Gail Ling); sisters-in-law Freda (Bannie) Coughlin, Carol Myers
Dawson (Orville Dawson) and Jeanette Barlow; and by numerous nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by her twin brother George in 1938;
brothers-in-law William Garnham, Nelson Henry, Gordon Myers and David
Barlow; and by her sisters-in-law Marjorie Coles and Anne Coles.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to
Bedeque United Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment
later in Searletown Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Bedeque United Church or
the Searletown Cemetery would be appreciated.
