It is with deep sadness that the family of Audrey Geraldine (nee MacLean) Bartlett announces her passing into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017. Born at Bible Hill, Truro, Nova Scotia on July 10th, 1925, she was the fourth child of the late Everett and Ella Grace (nee Ross) MacLean.
A faithful member of the Calvary Temple for over 50 years, she served her Lord as a Sunday School Teacher and volunteered as a Counsellor at 100 Huntley Street. In her earlier years, she volunteered for the New Brunswick Orphanage Ministry Program.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Ralph Douglas Bartlett on December 6th, 2009. Audrey is survived by her four children; Sharon (nee Bartlett) Savoie of Quispamsis, Marilyn (nee Bartlett) Bonney and her husband Bill, Mark Bartlett and his wife Mary, Blair Bartlett and his wife Beth; nine grandchildren; Troy Bonney, Adam Bonney, Davey Bonney, Shari Savoie, Melissa Powers, Benjamin Bartlett, Nathanial Bartlett, Rebecca (nee Barlett) McAllister, Zechariah Bartlett; 17 great grandchildren, newest great-grandchild Wren Shirley Bartlett was born just three days ago on the 17th. Also survived by her sister Shirley (nee MacLean) Bailey of Jacksonville, Florida.
Also predeceased by six siblings; Dorothy Bishop, Buddy MacLean, Donnie MacLean, Marion Hay, Barbara Conway and David MacLean.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will take place at the Calvary Temple (83 Sydney St.) on Friday, December 22nd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Her home going celebration will be held at the church on Saturday, December 23rd at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to The Gideons or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
