December 25, 1934 – April 29, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anthony N. Blake announce his passing at his private family residence on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Rosalind; son Paul Blake of Gander, NL., daughters: Gail Kurzynski (Perry), Middle Sackville, NS., Karen Blake of Gander, NL.; grandchildren: Mackenzie, Matthew, Michael, Max & Makaela; brother Ricky Blake (Tammy) of British Columbia, sister Lexie Keller (Bob) of British Columbia. He was predeceased by his parents Philemon & Burey; brothers: Harvey, Bernard, Harold; sister Ruth and precious son baby David. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Monday May 1, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the Fraser Road United Church on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Kathy Brett with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Anthony’s memory may be made to the Gander and Area S.P.C.A., 36 McCurdy Drive, Gander, NL., A1V 1A2.
