Obituary for Annie Smith
SMITH, Annie Rosa (August 31, 1932 – December 19, 2017) – Passed peacefully away at Pleasantview Towers surrounded by her loving family, Annie (nee Regular) Smith formerly of Hearts Content. Predeceased by her loving husband Jacob, infant son Bruce, son Edmund, granddaughter Caroline Sellers, parents Edmund and Clarrissa Regular, sisters: Irene (Walter O’Brien) and Ruby (William Spurrell); brothers: Richard, Harvey, Jim and John (Evelyn); sisters-in-law: Yvonne Regular and Evelyn Regular; brother-in-law Marcus Rockwood (Amelia); daughter-in-law Judy Byrd. Leaving to mourn daughters: Gloria (Gordon Ryan) and Jackie (Terry Rockwood), son Gordon; brother Arch Regular (Matilda), sister-in-law Susie Regular; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of 2NW at Pleasantview Towers for the care and love they gave their mother. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2pm, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honour.
