In loving memory of Anita Lamothe, 83 years, who passed away peacefully Monday, February 13th, 2017 at Finlandia Nursing Home. Loving daughter of Albert and Alice (née Leger) Marleau. Beloved wife of Florent Lamothe (predeceased 1996). Loving mother of Marcel (Carrol), Richard (Milla), Joanne, Jacques (Francine), Yvon (Line) and Claude (Stephanie). Grandmother of Jamie (Melissa), Joseph (Meaghan), Jennifer (Joel), Julie (Craig), Josee, Eric, Christine, Michael, Maxine (Clayton), Julien, Kyle and Tyler. Great-grandmother of Abigail, Alianna, Ryan, Ethan and Cohen. Predeceased by her siblings Laurier, Leo, Angèle, Gertrude and Bella. Our mother was a very kind and gentle person and was extremely proud of her children’s accomplishments. Words cannot express the genuine heartfelt love shown, as well as extraordinary care the staff of Finlandia provided to our mother, and the compassion we were shown by the staff was exceptional and very much appreciated. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday February 17th, 2017 from 11a.m. to 1:30p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:30p.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Finlandia Village would be appreciated.
