Amanda Mary Daigle
Miramichi – Amanda Mary Daigle, wife of Byron H. Williston, of Route 117, Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the age of 93.
Born in Bay du Vin, on January 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Fidele and Seraphie (Thebeault) Daigle . She was a homemaker and was Roman Catholic by Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Byron; two sons, Dale Daigle (Deanna) and Darrin Daigle (Tammy), all of Miramichi; three grandchildren, Jessica, Shelby and Journey; four great grandchildren, Haden, Harper, Hadley, Alice; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three half sisters, Gertrude Robichaud, Alma Martin, Amma Daigle; three half brothers, Ave Daigle, George Daigle, Clifford Martin.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 2 pm, conducted by Father Claude Daigle. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
