Dieterle, Albert;
Passed away peacefully at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, December 11, 2016 as the result of a motor vehicle accident sustained on October 31, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Martha (nee Witzke) (1992) and Eleanor (nee Thiessen) (2011). Loving father of Paul (Peggy), Elsie (Bill) Hoegler, Nancy (Matt) Cardella, Robert (Cathy), and Liz (Barry) Williams. Cherished Opa to Craig Dieterle, Megan Vojinovic, Scott and Trevor Ritchie, Nicholas and Christopher Cardella, Christopher, Anne, Aaron and Michael Dieterle and Morgan Williams. Lovingly remembered by his six great grandchildren and many family members in Canada, USA and Germany. Dear brother of Anna (Herbert) Schwarze, Paul (Anita) Dietterle, Lottchen (late Udo) Zydek and Elfrieda (Ernie) Kiist. Lovingly remembered by Eleanor’s three sons, Randall, Darrell, and Jeremy Spenst and their families.
Albert’s family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (519-749-8467). Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Avenue, North, Kitchener, immediately followed followed by a reception at the church. Interment St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel Lutheran Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
