Albert Joseph Jeffery
1928-2017
At the palliative care unit of the Community Hospital,
O’Leary, on Sunday, December 10, 2017, with his loving family by his
side, of Albert Joseph Jeffery, of Norway, P.E.I., age 89 years,
beloved husband to Marjorie M. (nee Harper) Jeffery. Born at
Roxbury, P.E.I, on May 2, 1928, he was the son of the late Levi and
Sadie (nee Gallant) Jeffery.
Loving father to Blair (Helen), of North Tryon; Wyatt
(Helen), of Broderick Road; Anita (Kirk) Boylan, of West Devon; Gordon
(Mona), of Tignish; Wanda (Michael) Gaudet, of Greenmount; Ward
(Pebbles), of Norway; Brent (Marcella), of Summerside; Jewel
(Christopher) Randall of, Christophers Cross, late Troy (Sherie-
Dawn), of Cascumpec. He will be sadly missed by his 34
grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and by his two
great-great-grandchildren.
He is survived by sisters, Eileen Arsenault, of Alberton,
Rosie Levigne, of Woodstock, Ont., and by a brother, Levi Jeffery,
also of Woodstock, Ont.
He was predeceased by siblings, Mary, Leo, Jack, Hannah,
Florence,Sophie, William, Leonard and Roy.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel,
Alberton, for visiting hours Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00
p.m. Funeral Wednesday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church,
Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant,
celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. (Please note change of
time of funeral)
