In Loving Memory of Albert Evers
Evers, Albert, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on December 29, 2017.
Born in Vught, Netherlands, he was the son of the late C.M. Evers and Bertha Gerritsma.
Albert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie-Rose, sons Darren and David; daughters, Rachel and Bertina (Paul); granddaughters, Mollie and Anna; brothers, Nicolaas (Cornelia), Ben (Jeanita), John (Beb), Gerard (Hannie); and sister, Therese.
In addition to his parents Albert was predeceased by his brother Frans (Jose), Kees (Evi); sisters, Ria (Paul), and Kitty (Jan).
Albert studied for seven years in Amsterdam and became a master in the art of pipe organ building. Albert built his first pipe organ in 1961 and immigrated to Canada in 1962. He was the organist at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce for 31 years.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ The King Church on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Fair Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Moncton Hospital Cardiology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
