It is with great sadness that
the family of the late Albert Clyde Barrett announce his passing on
Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in
Corner Brook at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and
loving memories his wife Gretchen (nee Klopher); children: Susan,
Rudy, Todd (Lana), Heidi (Jerry) and Michelle (Roy); grandchildren:
Trevor, Devon, Kaylyn, Andrew, Brittany, Brandon, Megan and Taylor;
special neighbors Robert and Tracy Wilton and their children: Brady,
Cameron, Robbie and Bethany; sister Irene Hefford; brothers: Noah
(June), Wayne (Estelle) and Terry (Patsy); his buddies: Jake Miller,
Jack and Shirley Fudge and his fur baby Abby; as well as a large
circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was
predeceased by his parents William and Louise Barrett. As per
Albert’s request, cremation has taken place there will be no
formal visitation or funeral service. As expressions of sympathy,
donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA.
