Passed suddenly away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Sunday, April 9, 2017, Agnes M. Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward; parents: Israel and Hazel Penney; brother: Melvin Penney; brother-in-law: Guy Lamontague. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Diane (Rod) Noseworthy and Gail (Paul) Pike, both of Harbour Grace, and Sherry (Dennis) Jackson, Victoria; three sons: Randy (Dorothy), Eric (Cathy), and Bill (Brenda), all of Harbour Grace; ten grandchildren: Paula, Stephen (Christine), Jennifer (Mike), Brad (Pam), Trevor (Mckayla), Travis (Tara), Brandon, Noah, Sydney, and Lauryn; two great-grandchildren: Colton and Gracie; five brothers: Fred (Nina) Penney, Walter (Margaret) Penney, Ross (Sandra) Penney, Gerald (Pat) Penney, and Dave Penney; three sisters: Hilda (James) Templeman, Marie Lamontague, and Dorothy (Wilfred) Budden; sister-in-law: Unetha Penney; special friend: Lenora Crowe; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, P.O. Box 209, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
