It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Yvonne Seeseequasis, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on February 14th, 2025 at the age of 81 years. Yvonne was born on October 7th, 1943 to William and Hannah Kingfisher. Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Lisa Seesequasis, & Susan Seesequasis (Dean Starblanket); her grandchildren & great-grandchildren Courtney Samson (Navy, Naveah, & Natalie); Reka Gonzalez (Emerson, & Emilo); Zoe Ballantyne (Braxton, Ariston, Cory & Wyatt); Tess Seesequesis (Dan Little), (Lydia, & Dallas); Glynis Lisa Seesequasis (Morgan Bigeye); Ryan (Nicole) Fitzgerald (Hannah, & Fisher); Brett Seesequasis (Ashley Auigbelle) (Atlas & Jupiter); Haley Seesequasis (Adrianna Olaiz); Skylar; her special nieces Judy Kingfisher, Donna Kingfisher, & Audrey Kingfisher; her special nephews Solomon Sanderson & Jonas Sanderson & her furry friend Otis. Yvonne was predeceased by her son Todd Seesequasis (Kim Ahenkew); her parents William (Hannah) Kingfisher; & her siblings Roy Kingfisher, Annie Kingfisher, Harold Kingfisher, Dorothy Kingfisher, Harvey Kingfisher, Florence Kingfisher, & Carole Sanderson. A Visitation Service will be held on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 from 4pm to 6pm at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 17th, 2025 at 1 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Hall in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Bishop Adam Halkett. The Honourary Pallbearers are Chief Brian Hardlotte & Hardlotte Family, Bruce Smallchild & Smallchild Family, her Bingo Friends and all those who shared in Yvonne’s life. The Pallbearers will be Ryan Fitzgerald, Brett Seesequasis, Ronald Brass, Dean Starblanket, Morgan Bigeye, & Solomon Sanderson. The Interment will be held at a later date.
