Yvonne Marie Henry
24 July 1961 to 09 February 2025
Yvonne, much loved and cherished wife of Bill, who was the love of her life, passed away peacefully with family by her side.
Always the loudest parent in the stands she will be greatly missed by her sons Corey, Kyle, David and Dylan. Predeceased by her parents Chuck and Amy Dafoe.
Sister of Jimmy (Debbie), Joni (Predeceased)(Gary), Joanne, Marlene (Predeceased), Danny (Krissy), Bobby and Karon. Daughter in law of Karen and Sister in law of Kim. She was a special Aunt and best friend to her niece Linda and her family and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Yvonne always had a smile on her face and put her family first above all else.
Yvonne was the life of the party and loved her heavy metal bands, cold beer, Mickey Mouse, anything purple and any game she could kick your butt at!
She’ll be missed around the neighbourhood where friends became family.
A special thank-you to Liz and Bill Graham and the Foodland Family for the outpouring of support, and the nurses and staff of the Markdale Hospital who were so attentive and caring to the entire family.
If desired, donations to the Grey Bruce Health Services Foundation-Markdale Hospital as an expression of sympathy would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
