King, Yvonne Dorothy (née Stacey) passed away in her home on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Yvonne was born in Buchans, Newfoundland to Robert and Johanna Stacey. Beloved wife to David King. Loving mother to Jonathan and his wife Anice and the late Brian King. Extremely proud Nan to Lilee and Decklan.
Survived by brothers Pearce Stacey and his wife Scelena, Dennis Stacey and his wife Brenda, by her sister Mary Lush and her husband Bill and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, infant son Jason, niece Phyllis, 5 brothers, and by her sister Marjorie.
Yvonne was always welcoming to her family and to everyone that she met, she loved to visit and was always kind. She was proud to be a Newfoundland girl and was very proud of everything that she had accomplished.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Yvonne King will be held in the chapel of Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Interment of ashes at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation for the Oncology Department or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
