Obituary of Yvonne Keith
Catherine Yvonne Keith (nee MacMillan) of London, Ontario. passed away peacefully the morning of March 15, 2025, at age 98. Born in Lucknow, Ontario on June 11, 1926, she was raised on a family farm until she moved to London to attend nursing school. She graduated with a nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital in London where she then worked as a nurse until retirement. She enjoyed traveling, dining out with friends and family, golf and bowling and continued to live an active and independent lifestyle at Masonville Manor until her very brief illness. Yvonne was also a 65-year member of the Catholic Women’s League and St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica.
Yvonne was the beloved wife Ronald H. Keith (deceased) daughter of John and Mae MacMillan (deceased), sister of Patricia Evanick (Ralph) and the late John (Doreen) and Myles (Theresa) MacMillan. She was cherished and loved by many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins who will always remember her kind and generous spirit.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of University Hospital-LHSC and Parkwood Institute for their care and support of Yvonne.
Friends and family may come to honor Yvonne on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10:30 am during a mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Ave, London, Ontario. Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria St, London, Ontario will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
