Yolande Clavette of Grand Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at the
Grand Falls General Hospital on the evening of February 8, 2025.
Yolande was born in Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska, NB, on March 26, 1947. She
was the daughter of the late Oneil and Rita (Godin) Levesque. Yolande
leaves behind her loving husband, Fernand “Donald” Clavet;
her daughters, Linda Daye (Tracey) of California Settlement, NB, Diane
Clavette (Rodney Clowes) of Anfield, NB, Lisa Pigeon (Francis) of
Memramcook, NB; her son, Gilles Clavette of California Settlement, NB;
her 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, plus one on the
way; her sisters, Alvine Roy (friend Omer St-Pierre) of St-André,
NB, Rolande Dubé (Aldéo) of Rivière-Verte, NB, Aurore
Leclerc (friend Robert Blanchette) of Grand Falls, NB, Denise Levesque
(friend Gilles Ruest) of Rivière-du-Loup, QC, and Anne Levesque
(Réal Clavette) of Ville Dégelis, QC; her brothers, Roger
Levesque (Nicole) of Edmundston, NB, Onézime Levesque (Gaetane)
of St-André, NB, Marcel Levesque (friend Dyane Martin) of Grand
Falls, NB, Yves Levesque of Drummond, NB, Paul Levesque (Diane) of
St-André, NB, and Stéphane Levesque (Christine) of Drummond,
NB.
She was predeceased by her parents; her daughters, Louise Clavette and
Line Francoeur; her son, Luc Clavette; her brother, Aurèle
Levesque (late Rolande).
Respecting Yolande’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held. A graveside service will be held at the Assumption Catholic
Cemetery in Grand Falls, NB, at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Lung Association or
the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
