It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Yee Son Wong at the age of 101 years old.
Yee Son Wong and her husband, Gin Sin Pon, immigrated to Edmonton in 1985, where she reunited with her eldest son, Let Pon. Her two other sons, Kim Pon and Hip Pon, and one daughter, Ai Xian Pan, later joined her in Edmonton.
Yee Son Wong will be remembered by her 3 sons, 2 daughters, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, who find comfort in the loving memories they shared.
About 20 years ago, Yee Son Wong, through the calling of the Holy Spirit, studied the bible under the guidance of the pastor and became a child of the lord through baptism. From then on, she grew to love life even more. Her heart was filled with joy, hope and peace. She was able to live a healthy and long life, enjoying the happiness of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 12:00 on Friday, January 17, 2025, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00, both at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home (10011-114 St. NW, Edmonton, Alberta). Interment will take place at Beechmount Cemetery (12420 104 Street, Edmonton, Alberta) at 2:45 p.m., with a luncheon Reception at Bai Wei Seafood Restaurant (16049 97 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta) to follow.
盤門黃氏如秀太夫人，生於公元一九二七年，終於二零二五年一月七日
，積潤享壽一百有一歲。
太夫人為人慈祥、賢良淑德、一生勤勞堅強、節儉持家、樂意助人。
一九八五年，太夫人隨丈夫移居加拿大，與長子盤烈團敍，夫妻二人勤
勞工作，隨後再申請次子及幼子移民加拿大本埠，共聚天倫，她為人妻
人母，言傳身教，任勞任怨，將家務打理得井井有條。
偶然的機會，太夫人通過聖靈的呼召，跟朋友到教會，接觸主內的弟兄
姊妹，初嘗主愛，得到牧師的指引，接觸聖經，通過學習，不久便受洗
成為主的兒女，從此她更加熱愛生活，臉上常掛笑容，心中充滿喜樂、
盼望與平安。
太夫人育有三男二女。共有內外男女孫十一名，曾男女孫八名，可謂兒
孫滿堂，樂也融融，她雖然年歲已經達到人瑞的境界，但身體依然健壯
，行動自如。她作息有時，過着優哉尤哉的生活。太夫人一生勤勞，晚
年享盡兒、孫、曾孫的喜樂，能夠健康活到高齡，確是福壽雙全。
