It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shaun, a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. Shaun passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, peacefully at home at the age of 51.
Shaun had many passions from music, to art, to books, a love he instilled in his children. He shared countless stories and adventures with his daughters fostering a love of reading and imagination that will continue to enrich their lives.
Above all else, Shaun cherished his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength. He is survived by his wife Rebecca, daughters Kiersten, Tracey, Breanna and Emma; parents Ted & Debra Okell, siblings Jayme (Wendy), Chris (Dara), Kaitlin along with cherished Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and loved ones.

The celebration of life with coffee and dainties will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
The family gratefully declines any flower donations due to allergies within the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
