1937 – 2025
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Winston George Warren on January 31, 2025 at the Grace Hospital.
Winston had a zest for life. He loved his cars and was a real car enthusiast always having the newest model. Winston’s life was curling and his greatest joy was curling for the Granite Curling Club, winning many championships, Briars and The Masters. He was inducted into the Curling Hall of Fame in 2002. Winston was a great coach to many young curlers.
His family, friends and curling buddies will miss his stories, laughter, and good nature. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. Everyone who met Winston became good friends instantly .
We will all miss you Winnie.
Thank you to the staff on the 5th floor at Grace Hospital for your care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place, followed by a private service with immediate family.
