In Loving Memory of Winfield Murdock
1947 – 2024
Winfield William Murdock of Black River Bridge, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on December 30, 2024, at the age of 77.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on November 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Cecil and Jean (McGraw) Murdock. He was a Carpenter by trade but also worked farming and fishing.
Winfield is survived by his wife, Eva (Lee) Murdock; three sons: Stacy (Jodi) of Miramichi, NB, Billy (Chrissy) of Miramichi, NB, and Toby of Black River Bridge, NB; six grandchildren: Rebecca, Jacob, Navie, Julian, Merissa, and Jonathan; several great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Win had a very special daughter, Tammy, who was like a daughter he never had. He also had a very special friend, Trish, from day one. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters: Marie and Mildred, as well as brothers: Bryden, Leonard, and Ray.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB, on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 1-4 PM.
PLEASE NOTE:
Funeral service will be held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 11 AM, with The Reverend Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Interment will be in Black River Community Cemetery, NB, later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
