It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Wilson Wells of Grand Bank, NL announces his passing.
Wilson passed peacefully away, with family at his side, at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank, NL on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his son, Robert Wells (Jeanny) of Portage La Prairie; daughters, Marguerite Forsey (Cecil) of Fortune, Rosalind Wells (Dennis) of Brooks, Michelle Hillier (Jamie) of Fortune, Ashley Wells (Chris) of Paradise; brother, Ken Wells (Margaret); 8 grand children, Ryan, Bradley, Brandon, Robyn, Anthony, Matthew, Lucas, Ashton; 6 great grandchildren, Ayla, Oliver, Kylie, Hayden, Winter, Mya; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Wilson was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Annie Wells; son, Tony; brothers, John, Tom, William, Arch; sisters, Margaret, Georgie, Matilda, Minnie, Emily, Alma.
The Wells Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on:
Tuesday, March 4th from 2:00pm-4:00pm
Tuesday, March 4th from 7:00pm-9:00pm
A funeral service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home at Grand Bank on
Wednesday, March 5th at 2:00pm
Interment to follow at Grand Bank Salvation Army Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Wilson’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery fund.
Earlier in life, Wilson really enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a love of entertaining. He produced a few country and gospel CD’s. Wilson truly enjoyed being around his family. His love for his family was unconditional. He truly enjoyed all the visits his received during his stay at the Blue Crest Home. He will be missed dearly and remembered by all.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Blue Crest Home for their exceptional care that their Dad received during his stay there.
