Wilson Durdle
October 16th, 1948- April 8th, 2025
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful man, Wilson Durdle, on April 8th, 2025.
He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Myrtle Durdle, brothers Lloyd and Reginald, brother-in-law Boyd, and sister-in-law Ruby.
Left to cherish his memory is Fannie, his sister Muriel (Tom), nephew Chris (Colleen), niece Cynthia, nephews David, Darryl, Michael, Keith and family, and countless other family members and friends.
Wilson was a very kind man who always had a heartwarming smile on his face. He cherished every moment that he got to spend with those he loved. He was always eager to help whenever needed, without hesitation. Wilson enjoyed going for countless rides down Cape Bonavista with Fannie, parking at the pier to look at the boats, and watching tour boats out on the ocean. He was a very important and special member of our family, and he will be forever missed by many. Although he is gone, he will live in our hearts and memories forever.
Cremation has taken place, visitation will be held at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Bonavista on Saturday, April 12th from 7:00-9:00pm and Sunday, April 13th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 14th at 11:00am at Strathie’s Funeral Home, with inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
