1937 – 2024
Mr. William ‘Bill’ Thomas Stuart of Caroline, Alberta, passed away at the Myron Thompson Health Centre, Sundre, Alberta on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Bill was born on June 11, 1937, at Glen Allan, Ontario to Tom and Pearl Stuart. Bill lived in Caroline for thirty-five plus years, which he called “God’s Country”. He was very involved in his community in the past. He served as Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Caroline, as well being a volunteer Fireman. He owned and ran West Country Delivery from Caroline, until he retired. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his companion of many years, Sheryl Butler; his children, Danny (Wendy) Stuart, Jake Stuart, Jody Stuart (Tracy), Debbie (Calvin) Cave, Tammy (Tim) Stuart, Tina (Greg) Selander, and Jennifer (Vic) Stuart; his eighteen grandchildren; his fourteen great grandchildren; and his one great great grandchild. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Glen Stuart, as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Stuart; his grandsons, Stanley Cave and Jason Davis; and his siblings, Bob Stuart, Gary Stuart, Keith Stuart, Louise Cathrea, Brenda Rhodes, Carol Stuart, and Gloria Rudisuela. Bill’s family would like to offer their special thanks to the Myron Thompson Health Centre, Sundre for the compassionate care they provided to our father until his passing. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Bill’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Humane Society at www.cahumane.com.
