December 4, 1936 –
January 10, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William (Orest) Gaye on Friday, January 10th, 2025, at the age of 88.
William was a devoted husband to Barbara for 65 years. A beloved father to Catherine (Ed), Edward, Richard (Kerri), Christoper (Lori), and James (Angela). He was a cherished grandfather, and a proud great-grandfather.
William dedicated over 65 years to a distinguished career in accounting and finance, including serving as the president of Accounting and Consulting Services of Canada Inc. for the last 40 years.
Beyond his career, William was a treasured friend to many and deeply involved in his community, particularly with the Knights of Columbus, St. Christopher’s Council No. 12372, where he served with great commitment and faith:
• Knight of the year 2023.
• Grand Knight 2003 to 2005.
• Charitable Foundation Leader 2006 to 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated and can be made to the Knights 12372 Charitable Foundation via e-transfer at knights12372foundation@gmail.com, or by cheque addressed to the Knights 12372 Charitable Foundation, Mississauga, On L5L 2W1.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend viewing services on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 from 6 pm to 9 pm (with prayers from 7pm to 7:30 pm), at Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St West, Mississauga ON L5K 1R2.
Funeral services, will be held Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 11 am, St. Christopher’s Parish, 1171 Clarkson Road North, Mississauga, ON L5J 2W1.
