We regret to announce the death of William Mison at the age of 79 years, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. Bill was a well-known member and past president of Branch 85, Royal Canadian Legion, as well as a member of the Golden Age Club. Bill had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. He was also a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed golfing every possible chance. Bill worked at the pulp and paper mill for over 40 years, as both an electrician and maintenance planner.
Bill will be greatly missed by his wife, Adèle; his children: Jason of Kapuskasing, Debbie Mison of Kapuskasing, and Marc Richard of Ottawa; his siblings: Marc (Irene) of Sudbury, Helen Malo (Dan) of Kapuskasing; and one sister-in-law: Kathy Mison of North Bay.
Bill was predeceased by his brother, David.

Nous avons le regret d’annoncer le décès de William Mison, à l’âge de 79 ans, le samedi 15 mars 2025, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Bill était un membre bien connu et ancien président de la filiale 85, Légion royale canadienne, ainsi qu’un membre du Club de l’Âge d’Or. Bill avait un merveilleux sens de l’humour et aimait faire rire les gens. Il était également un partisan des Maple Leafs de Toronto, et adorait jouer au golf à chaque occasion possible. Bill a travaillé au moulin de pâtes et papiers pendant plus de 40 ans, comme électricien et planificateur de l’entretien.
Bill manquera énormément à son épouse Adèle; à ses enfants : Jason de Kapuskasing, Debbie Mison de Kapuskasing, et Marc Richard d’Ottawa; à ses frères et sœurs : Marc (Irene) de Sudbury, et Helen Malo (Dan) de Kapuskasing; et à sa belle-sœur : Kathy Mison de North Bay.
Bill fut prédécédé par son frère, David.
