William “Bill” Wojcik
December 29, 1948 –
December 27, 2024
Passed peacefully Friday December 27, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by, his best friend and soulmate of 50 years, Debbie. Loving father to Deanna (Gibran) and David. Bill will also be remembered by his sister June and nieces Denise (Dave), Cheryl, and Adrianne (John). Predeceased by his parents Steven and Audrey.
Bill was employed by the City of Hamilton as an Hamilton Street Railway driver for over 20 years. He served in the RCAF reserves for 20 years, retiring with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Bill was an avid aviation enthusiast and obtained his ultra light pilot’s certificate with conventional gear in 2017.
At Bill’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
