Born on July 12, 1947 in King Township, Ontario to parents William and Christian Murdoch. Predeceased by siblings Isabelle, Wesley, and Louise.
Bill was a proud employee of the Collingwood Shipyards until its closure. He then continued to work as a much-valued member of the Simcoe County District School Board as head custodian at Admiral School in Collingwood.
Bill loved music and found joy in country and bluegrass songs. He was an avid hockey fan, and never missed a
Leafs game. He loved to laugh and meet his friends each morning for coffee and discuss the happenings of the
world. Bill will be remembered as a gentle, kind soul who would help anyone if he could.
