Hewitt, William “Bill” Robert
Passed away on October 6, 2025 at his home, at the age of 95.
Beloved father of Karen, Robert, Kenneth (Chantal) and Richard (Judith). Dear grandfather of Pamela, Kristen, Lindsey, Cassandra, Ryan, Curtis, and Valerie. Predeceased by his brother Richard Hewitt.
Bill was a lifelong golf enthusiast. He found great joy on the greens and was proud to serve as a marshal at the Phoenix Golf Tournament at Beaconsfield Golf Club in Montreal – a role he cherished and looked forward to every year.
When he wasn’t on the golf course, he could be found watching any and all NHL games.
He enjoyed a 36 year long and successful career with CP Rail, before retirement.
As per Bill’s wishes, cremation will take place. Online condolences may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
