It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Wilfred on Monday, March 17th, 2025 in Burlington at the age of 82. Cherished husband of over 60 years to Sarah Elliott nee Benedetti. Loving father to Brenda Mayrand (Christopher) and Shawn Elliott. Dear grandfather to Tasha (Raphael) and Charlie (Adam). Proud great grandfather to Ophelia. Wilfred was predeceased by his siblings, Robert and Miriam.
Wilfred spent many years with the Navy League Cadets. He also loved being up north with nature.
A memorial gathering will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, march 20th, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
If desired, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation or the Burn Clinic would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
