Weston Thomas Boyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Weston Boyd on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 85 years.
Weston was born in Twillingate, NL on March 5, 1939. He married his loving wife Lillian in 1967. He worked many places in Newfoundland as a mechanic and retired from NL Hydro in Stephenville. He had a love of the great outdoors, enjoying moose hunting, rabbit catching, going out in his boat cod fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the cabin life in Tizzard’s Harbour, NL.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: children: Pamela and Weston (Joanne); grandchildren: P.J., Thomas, and Angel; great grandchildren: Ronan and Angelina; and great friend Harry Jenkins; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Weston was predeceased by: wife Lillian; parents Linda and Ernest Boyd; brother Gerald; and sister Margaret.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. An interment will be held at a later date in Millertown, NL.
