It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother. Wayne Joseph Slaney, age 49 of St. John’s, Newfoundland, formerly of St Lawrence on March 5,2025.
Wayne is pre-deceased by his parents Mary (2008) and Joe (2024).
Proud father to Ryan and Jonathon of Mount Pearl. Beloved brother of Scott Slaney (Rebecca) and Bernadette Simonis (Fred). Loving Uncle to Samantha, Brendan, Ben, Joseph, Connor and Jaxson. Loved by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wayne had a smile that would light up a room and loved to make people laugh.
Cremation has taken place.
