1952-2025
Peacefully at home the passing of Wayne John MacKinnon,
Grand Tracadie PEI at age 72. Oldest brother of Larry
(Nancy), Frank (Donna), John (Patsy), Philip and Paula.
Predeceased by beloved parents John B and Phyllis (nee
Trainor).
Uncle to Micheal, Kellie, and Trevor; Marcy and Ben;
Jennifer, Jillian, Stephanie, Jacklyn and John; and Kallie, Grace and
Jack. He is also survived by his uncle Clifford Trainor and
aunt Mildred MacKinnon along with many cousins. Wayne was also a
devoted dog owner.
Wayne worked in management roles in the financial services
industry across the Maritimes before retirement when he built and
operated John B’s cottages on Tracadie Bay. As an avid sports fan and
patriot he would have enjoyed Canada’s hockey
win.
Resting at Hennessy Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be held at a later
date. Donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation
or the PEI Heart and Stroke Assoc. may be made in his
name.

and the RCMP for their efforts and kindness.
