Born in Yugoslavia to Isaac and Vesna Albahari, Joseph (Joe) Vinaric immigrated to Canada at the age of 13 to be adopted and raised by his aunt and uncle Lenka and Rudolph Vinaric. He lived with them and their daughter Rose in Montreal.
Joe graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, having had input in the calculation of the placement of the supports of the former Champlain bridge.
Joe proudly spent his career working for Quebec Iron and Titanium (QIT), starting at the plant in Sorel where he forged several lifelong strong friendships and ending his career as the director of sales and marketing at the Montreal office.
Joe married his childhood sweetheart, Esther Levi at the age of 21 and was very happily married to her for 61 years. Joe and Esther had 2 beautiful daughters, Vickie and Lori who gifted them with the joy of their lives, Charlotte, Brianna, Eve and Matthew.
