Viktor Frank, age 72, passed away surrounded by family, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elisabeth; their three sons, daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Viktor was a devoted husband, sharing an unbreakable bond with Elisabeth for over 50 years— always hand in hand, inseparable. As a father, he led by example, teaching his sons not only the skills of his trade but also the values of hard work, kindness, and integrity. He was their mentor, their guide, and their friend.
A man of quiet strength, Viktor worked tirelessly with his hands, never complaining, never showing weariness—always content, always grateful. He found joy in the simple things and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those around him.
He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his big, united family, relatives, and friends.
The funeral service will be held on February 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel prior to the service, followed by the burial at Steinbach Heritage Cemetery.

Viktor Frank, 72, ist am 15. Februar im Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, MB, Kanada, im Kreise seiner Familie verstorben.
Er hinterliess seine geliebte Ehefrau Elisabeth, ihre gemeinsamen drei Soehne und acht Enkelkinder.
Ein liebevoller Ehemann, hielt Viktor fuer ueber 50 Jahre einen unzerbrechlichen Bund mit Elisabeth, immer Hand-in-Hand, unzertrennlich. Als Vater, ein stetes Vorbild fuer die Soehne, nicht nur fuer sein handwerkliches Koennen, sondern auch fuer Fleissigkeit, Guete und Treue der eigenen Lebenswerten. Er war ihr Mentor, ihr Wegweiser, ihr Freund.
Ein Mann von stiller Staerke, arbeitete Viktor unerschoepflich mit seinen Haenden, niemals klagend, niemals lustlos – immer zufrieden, immer dankbar. Er fand Freude in einfachen Dingen und war immer bereit seine helfende Hand jedem in seinem Umfeld auszustrecken.
Er wird in liebevoller Erinnerung bleiben und unermesslich vermisst von seiner grossen, zusammengeschlossenen Familie, seiner Verwandschaft und seinem Freundeskreis.
