Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday January 13th, 2025 at the age of 87. Loving father of Nicole Pulyk (Mark), Denis, Julie Poitras (Yves Pelchat), Carol Poitras (Jason Gale), Sylvie Poitras (Paul Bazinet). He was the beloved grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Victor is survived by his brother Normand (Lise) and Conrad (Jo-Anne). Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Alida (nee Quinn), his brother Gerald and his sister Liliane Miller (nee Poitras).
Special thanks to nurses and staff of Eastholme for the exceptional care given to our dad during the last 4 years. He enjoyed the many activities, crafts and music. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Wednesday January 15th, from 2 until 4pm and 6 until 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Paroisse St-Vincent de Paul, 1265 Wyld St. North Bay on Friday January 17th, 2025 at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
